The 34th Annual New Ross District Awards (Posted: 12-03-2018)

Saturday 10^th of March saw the 34^thAnnual New Ross District Awards take place and was a special night for our club.  Adamstown club man, Adrian Morrissey was honoured on the night with a District Award; presented to Adrian by Derek Kent - County Chair Adrian has represented Adamstown GAA Club at all levels of Hurling and Football.  Adrian has also been a coach and manager at both Coiste and Adult levels. 

Adrian is an extremely passionate mentor, manager, Adamstown and Wexford GAA supporter.  He has given tremendous service to the club and we are all delighted to see his contribution being recognised.  Congratulations Adrian from all in St Abban's Adamstown GAA Club.

Also receiving awards were Jimmy Furlong and Willie Colfer on behalf of his Father Ned Colfer, both of whom were on the All Ireland winning team of 1968.  Congratulations to all on this very special occasion.
